Opinions on this? It states that it uses galvanic technology.

I haven't heard anything good about any of these devices. The only "electrolysis" home use devices that work are ones where you need to use a NEEDLE. Patches and tweezers don't give great results. I would give this one a miss. The OneTouch is $10 and is reliable, at least, if quite slow and labour intensive. If you really want to do home electrolysis you might want to invest in a better machine. But yeah, these "miracle cure" sort of patches have been known to actually burn people smirk I wouldn't trust it.

It is a scam, we've discussed it and similar "patch/pad" devices many times. Galvanic current is electric current. Hair doesn't conduct electricity. It's not the galvanic current itself that kills the hair anyway, it's the lye that your follicle produces in response to the current when it's very concentrated and intense. The lye fills your follicle and kills all the cells it touches. If the machine actually worked, then you'd have first degree chemical burns over the entire area that the pad touched. That is what happens in the follicle, but it isn't visible because it's beneath the skin. They claim that only the hair conducts the current, but this is scientifically not true. Skin conducts electricity, hair does not.

Galvanic machines are legit if they have a probe (like the One Touch or professional machines), but there are no functioning pad/patch devices (no matter how much conductive gel you use or how many electric tweezers they throw in) that have any effect on hair. It simply does not work. Sorry.

The link below will direct you to product users' reviews on using the "Verseo ePen Electrolysis Hair Removal System". This information maybe helpful to you since the "ePad" is apart of the same company and some of the same pads are in that system too. The "ePen" looks like it doesn't get many good reviews, which would lead me to believe that the "ePad" probably would have the same reviews. I wouldn't buy it.

I know you only wanted answers from people who have used the "ePad" product, but I haven't and couldn't find any reviews for those who have.

This device is pure flimflammery if you are seeking permanent hair removal. You might as well tweeze.

Hi,
I have just ordered one of these. About a year ago I tried one a friend had on my upper arm. I have lots of dark hair on my upper urns and back. Since I did the single treatment not one single black hair has grown back, only a few very small light hairs. Now I will say this surprised me a lot. Well now I know it works very well for me I have ordered it and plan to do my whole back and upper arms, have also ordered extra pads.

Lol, obviously I can't do it myself, this is where my wife comes in. And seeing as I have had excellent results, why not!! Better then doing it with something that is quicker but won't give as good results. And considering it will probably cost me around $400 all up including extra pads, fairly cheep if you ask me

“I have lots of dark hair on my upper urns [sic] and back. Since I did the single treatment not one single black hair has grown back, [after the said year] only a few very small light hairs.”

And, you got this result with your “Galvanic pad?” Gosh, not even laser or electrolysis can deliver these “one time” results. Oh you got these results? Yeah sure you did!

So many “nice” people here on Hairtell that WON’T speak the truth … but I will: Dude, you are as big a fraud as the device. (Could it be you are the company?)
