Two great machines:
Clareblend
...Looks a little used, but a good, solid unit.
And,
Fischer CBX
Good luck!

A high quality, good basic Silhouet Tone unit
Silhouet Tone 128
This is a great entry level unit for the individual that wants to get into using sequential programs. The unit looks pretty solid, has all attachments, and that all important manual. I would see spending $600 on this as a very good deal. Anyone seriously interested in this machine better be wary of late, last seoond, bidders boosting the price up to at least $550. On this machine it may happen.
But buyers be educated. This machine is designed with sequential blend in mind. That is, it modulates both the DC (galvanic)and AC (thermolysis) rapidly over a five to eight second time span. It can be put into a basic twin current manual mode, but sequential is it's specialty. It's based on the theories that each current has a strength and optimal timing to be applied. If one wanted to do straight Hinkle/Bono type Progressive Epilation with both currents steadily flowing at fixed levels, then this machine won't be too friendly to that. That is, to the beginner that wanted to spend over eight seconds on any given hair. That is, if you wished to do that with milder currents, then this machine can only give AC therm in eight-second duration bursts (DC it can give 20 second bursts). So, you'd have to keep re-pressing the pedal every eight seconds to sustain a longer, milder current flow. Now that's beyond eight seconds. Within eight seconds you're fine. And frankly, you'll get to the point where you'll see that no longer than eight seconds of AC is needed. But that's just me commenting from what I know of the S-T machine types; Sequentium 328's, Servo Blends, 128's, and Sequential Programs.

Unless you want to follow "Sparx" suggestion and buy probes to retrofit this turkey so you will have a straight galvanic machine, DON'T YOU DARE SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS!
AHRS American Hair Removal Systems Transdermal "Electrolysis" machine SCAM for sale
Notice that the owner spent $4,000 on this machine, and is now willing to sell it for and opening bid of $200 with no reserve.
Update: There was only one bid, and this thing that the owner had been conned into paying $4,000 for was resold for $200.00 plus shipping. Does that get the point across?

Don't laugh at this machine. It may look like a cross between a 1950's Norge refrigerator, an Edsel, and the RKO Radio City Music Hall, but it'll work vastly better than all the One Touch's, AAvexx's, ePen's, and Liquid Electrolysis products combined. I hope it finds a good home.

I have never heard of an ss-63, but of the models I know about, the one's with the designation ss-(number here) were Thermolysis only machines.
