Firstly, this is a great website!! Very informative.

Okay, here is my situation. I am male and have had unwanted body hair for a while now I have shaved, waxed and epilated my chest/back and arms. My hair is quite thick and it's everywhere Although I found waxing to be effective (for a week or so until the hair grew back), I have always suffered from bad ingrowns no matter which method i used. Its been around 6 months since I last waxed my chest and I still have some nasty ingrowns which keep coming back. Some of the ingrowns are so deep down, i cannot reach them with a needle, i can just see an ugly pimple like bump. In other cases, i have scar like dots from previous ingrowns which don't fade away.

I have used ingrow go to help the problem. Although it helps with hairs that are about to pop out, it's useless for the ones deeper down. I also exfoliate occasionally (when i can be bothered).

I really want to get rid of these ingrowns before summer arrives, when i will start waxing again. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to go about doing this. Also, what are some preventative measures I can take to reduce my chances of this occurring in the future?

I also suffer from ingrowns on my neck (from shaving)
