Probes: disposable, insulated, non-insulated, straight, tapered, gold-plated. Chosen through advertisement. Free consultation with hairs treated for free. Certification displayed.Wears gloves.

Respondent Comments: She was very professional and friendly. Other electrologists in Topeka were not willing to return calls and give much information on the phone. Barbara is a little bit more expensive than the others, but after I asked, she was willing to reduce the price of my long treatments. After talking to others who chose other electrologists, I believe I would have spent less than them, even if I'd spent the full price.[1 TG ref 98-05-26]

Do NOT go to Professional Hair Removal Clinique aka "Permanent Hair Removal Clinic
2525 W 13th
Wichita KS
(316) 214-4131 ". She does not use actual electrolysis and scams her patients.

Care to elaborate?
What is this person doing, if not actual electrolysis, and can we have a practitioner name?

Sure, she uses electric tweezers and advertises it as electrolysis and permanent hair removal. She's an older woman who acts super nice and scams you out of money as long as she can before you hopefully wake up and notice there's been no change. Her name is Vicky Terrell.

Lara07 I am so glad you posted this! I was looking for electrologists in Wichita when I came across your post. I looked on her website and sure enough, she is advertising these hoax methods. She is listed with the Better Business Bureau! Have you reported her to the Kansas Board of Cosmetology or the BBB?

Also, is there someone you do recommend in Kansas from experience?
