Hello again,

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section.

I wanted to know how electrolysis can be used to treat skin tags, facial veins, discolourations. I have not come across any techniques for this in any of my textbooks.

Do any of the practicing electrologists do these services, and , if so, how and where did you learn them?

Thanks in advance,

"PINK"
(thanks Michael, for my new nickname)

Some of the electrolysis schools teach these treatments however depending on what country or what state in the US you are in, you might not be legally allowed to administer some or all of these treatments. PM Michael Bono for information about one of his books that addresses one of these types of treatments.

I've never heard of it here in Canada so you might be right about that.
Still it's good info to have for my own benefit, I will pm Michael right away! Thanks!

In Canada it is called Thermocoagulation or Electrocoagulation. With this course you learn how to remove skin tags, pigment spots, cherry spots, keratosis, milia, moles, facial spider veins and how to close un-wanted peircings. It is a very easy technique to learn if you are already an Electrologist. I took the course in 2011 through Dectro International in Montreal and hope to be teaching it myself in a year or two in Prescott, ON.

Skin tags are delightfully satisfying to take off arent they?

I'll do skin tags and my partner Veronica will do all on the rest of that list here in Ottawa. See the link to time for you in my signature, Veronica has lots of information on it on her site.
