Picked this up on eBay yesterday.
Very clean, on the outside at least; about the only obvious bit of wear is the slight crack in the screen. There's a CB-2 manual on eBay, should that work in case the machine doesn't include one? Were CB-2 designs consistent over the years? I've written the seller asking whether the manual is included in the first place. RA Fischer don't sell manuals for these old machines, Texas Electrolysis don't have them either, or the Bono book; Fischer do have Hinkel's book, though, is that worth having on the shelf for a rank beginner like me?
Does the Fischer use standard size probes, too? I want to pick up the disposables and accessories ASAP.
I have a session today and will show my operator my purchase, which will no doubt get me a bunch of tsk tsk tsks, she thinks I'm completely nuts for wanting to mess around with DIY. She uses a new CB-X.
I'll run every test suggested here when it arrives, which shouldn't be long.
