Do such things even exist? Or am I better off getting an old and heavy machine?

Strictly speaking about convenience here, since if they work to a lesser extent I won't even bother.

um they do, but are mostly proprietary. You are better off for the most part with a used heavier machine, it would be more cost effective that way.
