I have a client coming this week for a consultation who had a peel procedure 3 days ago. We're avoiding that area and looking at another body area initially, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recomendations on how long we should wait post procedure before proceding to work on her face.

I think it depends on what type of "peel" was administered. There are many types of chemical peels and, of course, lasers (again, many types).

I would guess that if the client is able to get around after only 3-days the procedure was pretty mild and not a problem? Some procedures are done with anesthesia and, well, a LOT of down-time (and several days of prescription pain medication and skin covered with medicated gel).

I would find out just what was done. Also, if this was done by a physician or an esthetician.
