I once read that applying warm vinegar to the skin immediately after epilation will weaken the roots. Thus, after several applications you will see permanent removal results. Has anyone heard of this method or tried it?

I am not aware of any controlled clinical tests showing vinegar has any effect on hair growth.

I have heard that it works from someone who tried it. I'm currently trying it myself. If I see any results then I'll be sure to tell you all.

HI there,

I'm a new member on the HairTell site and read an old message you had posted about the Vinegar - if applied after waxing it will decrease your hair grow.

Is this true? have you tried it?
If so how does it work do you apply it on a napkin then to your skin after how long and when do you start seeing results.

HOpe you can help thanks.

Oopps I forgot about this thread. I tried the vinegar a couple of time but gave up because my family complained about the smell of warm vinegar. I did not see any results.

I don't think it will inhibit hair growth as I have never heard about its success in this area but cider vinegar can actually address other skin problems, particularly acneic breakouts. The antioxidants in cider vinegar protect from free radicals and bacterial infection. No, do not heat up the vinegar.

If you want to use cider vinegar, dilute it. Use 1 part cider vinegar to 5 parts of water and then, once you get used to it, your ratio can change to 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water and then, 1:3 ratio, and finally, if your skin is fine with it, you can finally use a 50% - 50% solution.
