So, like I said, I just started taking spironolactone yesterday. The bottle says "May Cause Dizziness" and I've been feeling pretty light-headed. So... my question to those who have been on it before, did you experience this and did it go away after a while? Or will I feel this way right after I take it everyday for however long I'm on it?

Hi Anathema:

I think that you should drink more water if you are on spiro since it is a diuretic. Unfortunately it also makes one urinate more frequently too.

I think once you adjust to the spiro you should not get as dizzy, maybe just occasionally. I have been on it for 9 months.
