Fischer SE-2 with all attachments Here's a stout little machine. A Fischer SE-2 with all of the necessary attachments to get going. This is solid, and the seller seems pretty on the level. These machines are pretty straightforward and take a generic, non-proprietray, needle cable hook up. What that means? If your needle cables develop a short, and they most likely will over time, you can hook up old Silhouet Tone, or other manufacturer cables for the needle holder. So replacing parts isn't so expensive. This machine and others similar, are becoming DIY pickings. Most pros and solons are moving into computer assisted machines and it leaves these to be had by the public. Not saying pros don't use these as mains and backups, but this is your basic DIY $300 machine that you're going to see time and again. This is a good machine, and it's great that they're including books, and certainly deserves to be followed by the individual that may want to seriously get into it. I get the notion that this seller considered DIY, then may have had second thoughts, not uncommon, at all. Remember, You're going to have to buy binoculars, good tweezers, needles, and all the other supplies to get going, so choose wisely. Mantaray

Can you smell the desperation in the person trying to palm off this scam to the next sucker? http://cgi.ebay.com/FINALLY-FREE-ELECTRO...1QQcmdZViewItemReading this ad made me laugh and cry. The starting bid was $50 with $7 shipping ended without a single bid, followed by a relist with a buy it now price of $35 & $9 shipping (where it sold with buy it now) and the ad copy read: You are bidding on a next to new electrolysis machine... It has only been used twice. It works great and plugs right into the wall so you can take it almost anywhere!!!! It is quick, painless, and easy!!! It doesnt get any better than this. This machine permanetly removes unwanted hair from the face and body!!! This is just the machine so you will have to order the patches to go with it. You order them online and they are very cheap. I will e-mail you the address when you win the auction! You can order patches for any area of the body including the face bikini or leg areas! It doesnt get any better than this !!!! Good Luck! There are no refunds and I only accept Paypal!!!

Call me nostalgic, call me a sucker for well made machines of the good ol' days. She may not keep up with the Apilus' and VMC's, but she sure is beautiful. Such a sweet practical machine. I am really drawn to her common sense, her simplicity, and the way her knobs invite learning and a graceful touch. I'd plop down a grand for her if I really wanted a good unit to get learn the facts. A Hinkel UC3+. I hope the buyer gives her good love. Hinkel UC3 on ebayMantaray

And a Uniprobe Autoblend. No flash, but thermolysis, galvanic, and blend. I used the Uniprobe Autoblend for my DIY project.

Buy time! An Apilus SM-500, good shape/ low hours, from a good seller. Starting bid $400, but take the Buy it Now at $800 to lock it in and avoid the sharpshooters that are bound to get the bidding above $600. This is an excellent DIY machine. I wouldn't recommend anything other than an Apilus, or more advanced Silhouet-Tone to a DIY'er because these machines vastly improve your chances of successful treatment. SM-500 on ebay There's also a Silhouet-Tone Sequentium VMC on ebay that doesn't come up under the usual 'electrolysis' search, search 'VMC epilator'. This machine has a starting at $2,000, Buy It Now at $2,800. Although most individuals would balk at the price, the wise DIY'er would know this machine would actually make a great DIY/ co-DIY machine as well and pay for itself in a big hurry. For those that wouldn't want to use the Buy It Now on the Apilus SM-500 look at it this way: Machine: $800 Bono or Hinkel book: $25 Lamp: $50 Loupes: $200 Tweezers: $20 Misc Lotions: $20 -------------------- Total: $1,115 $1,115 / $70 dollars per session = 15 sessions This machine will pay for itself within 15 sessions. If you ever have plans to do legs, bikini, abdomen, underarms, arms, hands. It will take in the 200 session range, and then some. ...You will save tons of money. ...You will vastly accelerate your timeline. ...You still won't to get many areas that a pro will have to get for you, but money will be saved to get those other areas much more faster.
