i wasn't sure where this would go so plz feel free to move it to the appropriate thread.

what i wanna know is what causes unwanted hair to grow on females?
and could one plz answer it a little detailed.
i feel embarrassed and stupid asking this questions but i have to know.

Actually, there are many possible causes. The amount and distribution of facial and body hair varies greatly from person to person and is usually genetic. Certain medical conditions, however, can cause increased hair growth. These include hormone imbalances, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and others. If you have experienced a major increase in body hair in a short period of time, or if you have more than you feel like you should, it would be a good idea to consult a doctor to determine if a medical condition is causing it, but most often there is not.

Unwanted hair is one of the world's oldest cosmetic issues and yet it is still one of the hardest to deal with.
