can anyone recommend the best available nose/ear hair trimmer as i've tried are not that effective.

I've tried some nose/ear hair trimmers and none have worked very good. The ones I've tried seem to trim long hair some, but they don't trim it near as short as I'd like. So of course the trimmer didn't really do anything for the shorter hairs. The last one I tried cost about $13 and it was a Remington Wet/Dry model.
