I would LOVE a section for professionals!

I am a rather new CLS working part-time in a Dr.'s office.
Although, my schooling made things seem pretty cut-and-dry with charts, etc. I have found there are many variables in this profession and would love hearing the advice of seasoned professionals.
I have seen wonderful results for my clients and wish that to continue. I have many technical, and tactical questions of a professional nature.

Is CLS an acronym for certified laser specialist?

That is actually a good idea, since the places where that is done are all fragmented, and don't tend to get much use. The only problem is we would have to make it a private forum, and password protect, and it would also probably have to be a paid membership, which would reduce the number of people using it, and sharing information on it. (Strange how people want education for free so they can use it to make money... Oh, and I am not pointing a finger at you when I say that BryteFyre)

I understand your point of view.

Its just hard to find real information other than "What to look for in a specialist" or "what skin type are you?". Information handed out during our 'paid' schooling doesn't delve into all the fine details. I am finding out it is a learn as you go..and go carefully kind of profession. Learning techniques and little tricks along the way.

My first concern will always be to improve myself for the safety and satisfaction of my client. To me its not about the money. I hate turning someone away because I am required to charge what my boss deems 'competative pricing'.

Doctors, professional ballplayers, and artists all share information amongst themselves. Why should we be any different?
It was just one area that I thought was sorely lacking. (not that I'm pointing a finger at this site, it is a fantastic with information, but on the WWW in general)

: )
