I was able to do one bottom leg in about 30 minutes then I waited a couple of hours for the Tria to recharge and did the other leg. No biggie.

I was going to wait a couple of months before using Tria again just to see how long I went hairless, but I have a vacation coming up in a few weeks and I'd like to be as hairless as possible for that, so I'm going to zap my legs, bikini line, and armpits this week.

So far, it's been a month since I did my bikini line and armpits(for the first time). I still have about 75% less hair in the bikini line. The second round a couple of weeks ago on my armpits appears to be working some. It's still a little too soon to tell how well, though. It's been 3 weeks since I did my lower legs and that looks like it got maybe 50% of the hair. Some of that could be hair growing back after being waxed a few weeks before using Tria, though.

I did my legs a couple of days ago and this time I overlapped more. I was only able to get about 2/3 of one lower leg before charging again, so I ended up having to recharge twice to get all of both lower legs. That's still not too bad. One thing I should probably mention is that I'm thin, 5'6", and not very hairy, so someone else might need an extra charge.

I made the mistake of getting too close to a tattoo and got the very tip of a leaf. OMG, it hurt like you wouldn't believe and that was just a tiny tip of a tattoo. I can only imagine how bad it would've been if I'd actually hit it full on. I recommend staying very far away from tattoos.

Just had my first Tria session tonight! (couldn't wait for the recommended 24 hour test window to expire before trying it out:)
Managed to do my upper arms and upper back before the charge expired.
After one or two cautionary test zaps at the low and medium settings, I continued on high for the rest.
Pretty impressed so far with it, you definitely. know when its reaching a large number of hairs since the one second heat zap on high is very apparent, not pain full per say but depending on the sensitivity of the region treated, expect the odd flinch inducing zap.

Happy to answer any questions regarding its use, charging, ect obviously won't comment on any results until a few weeks pass.

Cheers!

You guys really need to give 3-4 months after you stop treatments to judge results. Anything less than that really doesn't give that much info for us. You can pluck the hair and it will be gone for 4-5 weeks.

Hi Lagirl, new to this forum but have been reading your progress previously. Would I be right in saying that 3 years on after you started treament on your bikini line you're still receiving treatment?

Roma18,
It's a little too soon to tell. At the moment, I don't appear to be getting complete removal, but that could be because I didn't overlap. I did a good job overlapping this time, so maybe in a month I'll have better results. *crosses fingers*

lagirl,
After my legs healed from the professional laser, I decided to give waxing another shot. It was messy and I ended up with ingrown hairs, so that's not an option for everyone. I'm assuming you're joking when you suggest people pluck, since that would be ridiculous.

Chris, I haven't had a laser treatment on my bikini in at least 1.5 yrs or 2 yrs. I need to check my diary (you can too at the link below). I've had electrolysis treatments on that area for the few fine sparse hairs remaining just because I'm a perfectionist and want 100% gone, but I haven't had laser there in a long long time. The only laser I've had recently has been on my lower legs and I'm only doing those once every 6 months.

Melissa, my point about plucking or waxing was just to point out that it's important to remember that hair grows in cycles, so it takes a few months of not doing anything to judge whether the hair is gone for good. Because any type of removal of hair with the root (plucking, waxing, threading, etc) will result in no hair for 4-5 weeks.

Oh thats fantastic Lagirl, was just curious as I assumed you were still getting regular treatments every year. Just out of curiosity Lagirl, how many treatments of laser did it take for you to get a satisfactory result?
