Dave's success story on the scalp. Original post: http://cosmeticenhancementsforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7837

Hi, I wanted to post a quick "success story" about getting LHR done on my scalp and the back of my neck. It's been a little over a year since my last treatment.

Before beginning the treatments I was almost completely bald on top, and had been shaving my head for years. I decided I wanted to permanently remove the remainder of my hair, so I would not have to shave daily.

After my 6 treatments, I am very satisfied with the results. I would say I am close to 99% bald now, and what remains are the few gray hairs I had before beginning the treatments. I am thinking about going for electrolysis on the remaining hairs eventually, so I don't have any hair to shave. Now, I shave every few days to clean up the grays. It only takes me a few seconds while in the shower to clean up my head.

If any men who shave their heads are considering this, I would highly recommend it. Obviously, based on hair/skin color you may have different results, but I love no longer having the "shadow" of where my hairline used to be.

Unfortunately, I don't know all the details of the type of laser unit used or the settings, I'm sorry.

I will highly recommend where I got the procedure done. Monarch Med Spa located in King of Prussia, PA. They also have a location in Philadelphia. www.monarchmedspa.com .

The technicians were always friendly, although many had never done scalp treatments previously, they always used a comfortable setting, and never burned my scalp.

As I said, if anyone is considering doing this I would vote to definitely go for it. I love the fact that I no longer have any hair to worry about.
