The cost would depend on whether she wants to buy used or new equipment and if she is computer savvy enough to use eBay craigslist etc.

You can get a list of models at dectro.com but they don't list their prices and I couldn't find prices on the Platinum and Platinum Pure (from rough memory, the Platinum is about $10,000, SX-500 $5000, Senior II $3500, Junior Plus $2500, James know the cost of the Platinum Pure?)

If you look around, and I mean really look around, know some tips and tricks for eBay etc. and keep your eyes open you may find one at an amazing price smile Probably on not the Platinum machines though since they are new (a real shame, they are sooooo comfortable!)

I will look it up, but I think I recall the Platinum Pure to have a list price around $8,000

I would have graciously and eagerly accepted had someone offered to buy my Apilus for me! Would not have offended me one bit.

Oh, yal! If someone had offered to buy an Aplius Platinum for me I would have worked on them whenever for however long and would have suggested they throw in some sisters and cousins and friends with the deal.

If you are the one being worked on, you will say the Platinum is worth every penny smile

I wonder what the next model down goes for? Is the next model down the SX-500?

You know, if I did not know you better, and I did not know me better, I would accuse this line of questioning of being "schilling." Since it is just curiousity, I will just give you the run down.

Apilus Platinum $8500 to $10,000 depending on where and how you buy it and if you have a trade in machine at time of purchase. To that figure, you must add taxes and shipping.

Apilus Platinum Pure $7,000 to $8,000 depending on the options included and trade in allowance. (plus taxe & Shipping)

Apilus SX-500 $5000 or less if you can get a trade in, or if you buy at a convention discount rate. (don't for get your taxes and shipping)

Apilus Senior II $4,000 plus shipping and taxes

Apilus Junior Plus $3,000 plus shipping and taxes

Apilus Cleo Blend $2,500

Apilus Cleo Flash $2,000 (S&H and Taxes)

So, once again, if your practitioner has one, give them a hug and maybe a tip. whistle

Shilling for you, or the fine folks at Dectro International? grin

No shilling, honest, but both get my seal of approval (whatever that is worth) smile

Seriously, in the history of this fine web site, many people who have never experienced the electrolysis machines we recommend here, accused us of schilling, or worse, being bought and paid for "celebrity endorsers" of the products we try to get people to obtain in their practice, and customers to look for when on their search.

The funny thing is how many of those former accusers, now have these machines on their work cart, because they have since tried it and liked it. Many consumers who were suspicious, did the footwork to find and try several electrolysis providers and found that these machines can, and do make a difference, when they are used anywhere near properly. Some have even thanked us, and/or apologized for their former vitriol.

As for me. I thank you for your vote of confidence and your kind words. I am past my prime, and simply not made of the sterner stuff of the Giors, Bono's, Groves, Petricca's, et al. I have already lost a step, and my joints ache. I don't think I will ever see another 2,000 hair an hour day.

Instead of going out like Jerry Rice, it looks like I will end up retiring as a Thurman Thomas, instead.
