i found some more info about the electrolysis they use at the place where im going for my consultation, they mention diathermy, galvanic and the blend method electrolysis which is the best method would you suggest?

what questions should i ask?

my back is about 35% dark fine hair. is it best since they hair has just come in from the waxing in the last 3-4 weeks to get all the hair cleared in the next week or so?

by the way i'm finishing my IPL treatments on the small section between my shoulder blades and neck, just because i've already paid for them, but the hair is more course and dark in this area than the rest, so even with some reduction i will still need electrolysis cause my hair is fine, am i ok to go for electrolysis on the areas i'm not having laser?
i havent waxed this area so they hair is just growing from my last treatment.

Where are you located?

Diathemy is Thermolysis. All three of the above modalities work, but thermolysis, specifically, MicroFlash and PicoFlash are much quicker and yes, they are deadly to the hair follicle.

If there is noone who uses a computerized epilator that can offer you the more advanced forms of electrolysis then you will have to settle for what is available in your area or persuade your practitioner to bring it on up to a more advanced level. That means spending money, so chances are not great that you will be a successful persuader.

Your profile doesn't say where you live, so now I am assuming by the terms you used, it is not in the United States.

no i live in the UK, but with there website they its advanced electrolysis so i'm guessing it will be up to date. its an actual hair removal centre aswell that just does hair removal, eg IPL hair removal, electrolysis and alkaline wash.

An epilator is the machine used to perform electrololysis. The newer ones are computerized. Ask them for the name of the machine they us and how experienced the electrologist there is.

If you got waxed 3-4 weeks ago, right now it the best time to get that hair treated with electrolysis. The goal with electrolysis is always to treat hair in the first growth phase when it's weak, i.e. when it first comes out which is now for you.

so if i can get all this hairs zapped nearly all of them will be destroyed for good and then just to keep on top of the others?

i went to my consultation and it went well, but cause they do all the forms of hair removal there they mentioned they had recently upgraded there laser system and said they have a new advanced hair piece for it and rekoned they could easily treat my hair type and normally at the other place i paid £150 a session, but hear they offered me £69 per session and said i would need maybe 6-8 sessions, and with the advanced piece they can go nearly twice the power of the machine i had used before. so i decided to have a patch test to see how it would go.

The only thing that concerns me for this area is the gamble you are taking for laser-induced hair stimulation for the upper part of the back and shoulders.
