The forum software was recently upgraded, which may affect some users' ability to log in.

This checklist may help you successfully log in:

1) Make sure you are entering your password correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive.
2) Ensure that your browser supports cookies; if so, check the security level you are using. High levels of security restriction in certain browsers will automatically reject cookies. In order to use the key features of these forums, you'll need to accept cookies. The maker of your browser can help you with additional problems you may have with your cookie settings.
3) Completely log out by hitting the Log Out link in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and then log back in again.
4) After logging in, you may have to hit the Reload or Refresh button on your browser to expedite the authentication.
5) If these steps don't work you can try purging your cookies for this site using the My Cookies tool.
6) If you continue to have problems, go to the Log In page and click "Have you forgotten your login information?". Enter your real email address into the Email Address field and a temporary password will be emailed to the email address used for the account setup.

The recent forum upgrade left our Gallery forum and YouTube/video buttons temporarily out of order, but they have been restored. The Gallery is among the forums listed on the main page, and can be used to upload images related to hair removal.

There are many hair removal related videos on YouTube, Google and other sites which can be easily embedded in a post by using the button with the video screen icon on the New Topic page and following the directions which appear once it is pressed.

For example, clicking the video button and entering this URL:

results in this:

A member writes: Hi, Andrea. Just wanted to supply a technical tip for any other Mozilla Firefox users who may have difficulties posting to the forums. Mozilla can enable or disable sending the HTTP_REFERER value. If it is disabled, the UBB software will not allow you to post.

To re-enable this in Firefox:
1) In the browser's URL/address bar, type "about:config"
2) Click the button to say "I'll be careful, I promise!"
3) In the "Filter:" bar, type in "referer"
4) The value to check is named "network.http.sendRefererHeader" If it is zero, you will not be able to post to the forums.
5) Double-click the name, and change the value from zero to one.
6) Close the "about:config" browser tab

I tried disabling both AVG anti-virus and Windows Vista network firewall, but neither of these was the source of the problem, it was the browser all along.
