I see a lot of adds on the Internet for this system. Does it actually remove hair permanently and if so, which of the two systems (diode or IPL) has the best results for white skin and dark hair and white skin and light hair?

Also, does the carbon type spray that is supposed to get into the follicle before laser treatment actually work?

Any blondes or Redheads want to weigh in on how good LASER works on those hair colors? Even with a pro system and a well trained practitioner, Blonde and Red hair is not a gamble I want to bet on in LASER, let alone "Home Use Diodes."

Turns out it isn't an issue of does it work or not (it doesn't) it is an issue of a blatant scam set up from beginning to end to prey on peoples natural wish to want to believe they can get something cheep and do it themselves. I see now ... you can't

Now, having read about this whole industry I can see that it is actually pretty inexpensive to get a laser package from a reputable practice when you stop to think about what you are getting:

The amount of time they spend with you and the amount of time they have in training and experience and the amount of money they have invested in a laser(s)... it really is a deal if you think about it.

And, if you really think about how absurd of a question it is for me to have asked about what people think about a home laser for three thousand dollars; think about this. Why not get on a LASIK forum and ask about what people think about getting their own LASIK Vision Laser in order to correct their refractive error with a cheap home laser that you shoot at your eyes? The post would go something like this:

Hey, what does anybody know about the Wave Front 784nm Lasik laser? I Found one for $1,495 and I was thinking of setting it to 26 jcm, but my math isn't so good and I wasn't sure where to put the diecimal point and it changes the power of the laser by a factor of 100, so I really need to know what setting most people use? And, if you don't mind I was wondering if you can expect better results on your second eye because you are twice as experienced when you do your second eye? Oh, also I heard from my girlfriend who had it done that you have to hold your eye really steady. Is that true for the Wave Front series lasers... I heard that it really doesn't matter where you look.
