hi. ever sinse i started using a 5 blade razor i have ben getting ingrown hairs on my pelvic area(directly above vagina). i have never before had them in that area. could this be because of that my blade shaved down so close the skin? i got a Brazilian wax about 3 months ago but i dont think that would now be causing my ingrown hairs..

I like your handle! I had a problem with ingrowns after a brazilian wax. It took about a month before they started and they were bad over time. I get the same problem with shaving, but usually after a dulling blade and trying to shave a little too close.

Actually in growns led me into electrolysis and laser.

Waxing could have had an effect since waxing can distort the way the follicles grow. Shaving would only affect it if you're shaving in a different direction etc. If you're not doing anything differently, but using a 5-blade razor, I wouldn't think that would impact it.

Have you considered laser? Some people are just prone to ingrowns and getting laser treatments is a great help.
