It's hard to keep up with every scam this company puts out.

The latest incarnation of their transcutaneous patch device is the Finally Gone, which offers patches and an electric tweezer.

The IGIA Finally Gone should be avoided by all consumers.

The device retails for $60 and has not been cleared by FDA for marketing.

IGIA: Finally Gone

quote:
Finally a solution to a permanent problem!
Permanent hair-removal Galvanic technology used by expensive spas is now available to the public!

The IGIÁ Finally Gone Hair Removal System is your most convenient, effective method to remove unwanted facial or body hair using galvanic energy. The system was developed in the U.S. and uses two different, but equally impressive methods of hair removal. You can choose from a single hair application or multi-hair treatment for larger sections of hair removal.

The single hair treatment consists of electronic tweezers utilizing galvanic current and a conductive lotion. The current is transferred from the tips and within 30 seconds the hair is removed. The multi-hair application utilizes four different reusable pads using a selector button for selecting the type of treatment.
1. Hair Shaft
2. Outer Skin Surface
3. Follicle
4. Dermal Papilla
5. Artery
Saves time by treating twice the area of conventional systems. Less discomfort for the user. The IGIÁ Finally Gone Hair Removal System is more versatile with 3 different programs to choose
from: Single hair, Small area and Large area. Electronic display continually gives treatment time. Retractable cord. Scientifically designed tweezers. Easy and safe to use.
4 kinds of Treatment Pads:
Large Treatment Pad
Medium Treatment Pad
Small Treatment Pad
Upper Lip Treatment Pad

IGIÁ Finally Gone includes:
• Unit With Retractable Cord & Mirror
• 2oz. Conductive Gel
• Gold Designed Tweezers
• 4 Pads For Treatments
• 2oz. Pre-Treatment Cleansing Lotion
• Carrying Case

Why? I know IGIA is very questionable in general and I've seen the infomercial for this product. Please tell me perticularly what the problem is besides the company's bad rep.

Claims that transdermal or transcutaneous hair removal can cause a permanent result, especially at such low power levels, have no backing in clinical data. In fact, similar methods have been clnically proven temporary.
