If money is a problem.
You might want to notice that American Institute of Education is located in Long Beach, and for very little money, one can have a student use electrolysis on you under the care of instructors.

Hello, I realize this post is outdated but I thought I'd ask anyway:
Where can I find out about getting work done by students in Long Beach?
Any ideas what the costs are? Or if there is any privacy?
Thanks in advance smile

Robin Harris mentioned above is actually an instructor at the Long Beach school. So start by contacting her. Or you can call the electrolysis school directly.

The school in Long Beach moved to Orange County some time ago. They are now in Anaheim. The phone number in Long Beach will still dirrect you there.

Ok great Thanks! I live on the border or L.A. and O.C. counties so Anaheim is probably a little closer to me than LB.
I sent an e-mail but I haven't recieved a response. I will call soon!

Thanks for the posting LAgirl...I was just wondering what is the difference between thermolysis, microflash, and blend for electrolysis? Thank you.

Sunshine, for your purposes there's no big huuuuuge difference. It's more important to find someone who is GOOD at whatever modality they do. To me, it's not the same as laser treatments where the laser type is a priority. The speed of the modalities is a factor, but not as important as a proper treatment.

Here is some great info James gave me on the modalities: http://www.hairtell.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/68676/James_W_Walker_VII_CPE.html#Post68676
