I used a size #4 probe which worked very well for me. If I remember correctly, the Onetouch probe is larger than that.

I had much trouble inserting on the arm to do a test run........the probe is too large for finer hairs.
I don't believe you can get any smaller needles for the One Touch which is another reason I bought a used pro machine and a variety of probes.

I have made some alterations to the Onetouch in order to be able to use other probes. You might want to check some of NoHair's posts or his website for more info.

Does anyone have a good trick or advice for DIY arm work? I'm using a F3 in this area and finding insertions so hard because of the way this area slopes - unlike other area where there's more of a "flat" surface.

I use my arm for practise or testing epilators quite often. It's a bit awkward because you MUST work one handed and stretching isnt always possible, but you'll find you can stretch by placing the lower edge of your insertion hand against the arm and pulling the skin . It definitely becomes easier once your accuracy improves and you learn to insert with your dominant and non dominant hand.Other body areas dont face these challenges. With good accuracy you can insert without any stretching at all.

I don't know if this will help, but I received a free batch of Laurel probes, (f3 andf4) I adapted them to fit the One Touch but I find the probes are too big for fine / invisible hairs..

Is the laurel probes f3 probes finer than the One Touch probes?
