Copied and pasted Dario at Dectro's submission of an electrolysis YouTube video. Dario deserves a sticky. Dear Hairtell readers, here is the link to a video explaining how a professionnal electrolysis treatment session should unfold. Please feel free to share with other electrologist and also clients that don't know this permanent hair removal technique: Electrolysis Treatment Session Sorry for the quality of the video. It was made before the HD technologies came on the market

If one got marathon sessions, one could clear out all that hair in a matter of days, and skip right to maintenance phase. At that point, you would be like any one else who came in for work. You could make this nothing but a memory in 9 to 18 months, with full clearances at least once every 6 weeks, but to always look finished, you would get clearances closer to once every 3 to 4 weeks. If you can clear it all in a concentrated time, then it would only take up one or two days once every month, if not, then one may need to go once a week for the first 3 months.

thank you very much james.......so far I understood I have to get full clerance first...than have to go every 3weeks to get clearances....I have met a wonderful electrologist in my area who has 35 years of experience and all of them got away with hairs without even a single scar. She uses Flash thermolysis and is very quick...she said she would clear it in minimum of 3 hours. You are an expert...so thanks for your advice.I will keep in touch with you people regarding electrolysis sessions.

Hi madhu,
Can I ask how long before this clearance you last did anything to your hair? I mean, plucking/waxing/threading/shaving?
How long since your last laser session?
How many weeks of growth was present?

one more thing... You can see sparse hairs on my lower side of neck...my elctrologist told me to come 3 days after for those...I really understand how tired she was after doing so long session as she was so quick.she removes atleast 35 hairs per minute. Its hardly 10 minutes work for her.

Hey Madhu,
In that case, it sounds great.
If you have not touched the hair since your last session 6 months ago, then a lot of the total hair was removed in the first session. You may find you can easily go two months before needing another.
You can go every three weeks to catch the small amount of hair that should appear - these will be short sessions.
If your electrologist is happy working on telogen hairs as well, then if you wait 3 months and see how much hair appears, this will be a good indication of how effective the first clearance was. What one doesn't want is to see almost the initial number of hairs again!
You can still continue to experience induced growth from Laser even up to a year or more after your last session. Hopefully that won't be the case but if you get any surges of growth later, it will be difficult to tell if it's a result of the laser or the electrolysis.

THANKS STOPPIT$TIDYUP...ACTUALLY I AM GOING FOR THE HAIRS IN MY LOWER NECK...I THINK IT WILL BE GOOD TO GET SMALL AMOUNT OF HAIR REMOVED EVERY 3 WEEKS BECAUSE THAT WILL BE NECESSARY TO CATCH THE HAIRS IN ANAGEN PHASE AND EFFECTIVELY KILL THEM SO FAR I KNOW.MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR ME.I HOPE EVERYTHING GO WELL WITH MY SKIN.I THINK BETTER TO LEAVE SKIN AND HEAL OF ITS OWN RATHER THAN APPLYING CHEMCALS.YES I DO BELIEVE GOOD SUNSCREEN IS ESSENTIAL PART.WHAT DO YOU SAY stoppit$tidyup? I AM JUST WAITING FOR DFAHEY AND JAMES COMMENTS TOO...........
About my electrologist, she is such a jolly natured lady full of life.I feel so comfortable when i am with her.She can clear any hair which i want to get removed.
