Hi Aliciadarling,
I’ve always been pretty sensitive to treatment, although I do heal well. This hasn’t changed much since starting on antiandrogens and hormones. Maybe being a 55-yr old battle ax has something to do with it?
One good note is that I am now getting a lot less regrowth! There are some definate benefits besides the alleviation of a lifetime of horrible stress!

Hi Joanie:
I am glad that you dropped by to say hello. It was getting lonely down here.
I found that the electrolysis seemed to hurt more after HRT. I had put that down to the HRT making my skin more sensitive. Lately I am suspecting it has a bit to do with
hydration and things like spironolactone acting as a diuretic.
I no longer use spiro since I am post-op, but on the day of my last electro treatment I drank more water than I usually do and that helped a bit.
I know what you mean about the regrowth. Even if it is not readily visible, just the feel of it disgusts me in a way you will probably understand.
Alicia
