I don’t even know what to say. I think it’s easy to misinterpret when reading on the Internet. I have to say that it does bother me a bit when someone responds to a thread without reading anything that’s been already discussed in it (and that’s always obvious from their post) since so many people here put a lot of effort into helping others out.
Hopefully, they’ll come back. This doesn’t really happen often around here. Some people are really sensitive…
Yeah, I know. I’m not a touchy person, and it takes a lot to offend me. In fact, I often don’t even notice when people are trying to offend me (somebody usually has to point it out!).
But I look at the number of posts a person has written, and if it’s only a few, I send a private message. Some people feel humiliated with a rebuke, others let it roll off their shoulders. You never know. If my PM to someone is ignored, then I say something in public (though when I was new to message boards, I didn’t even know what PM even was).
It is VERY easy to misinterpret people when writing because you can’t hear the same tone of voice that the writer is thinking of. I am a get-to-the-point kind of person for the most part, but will try to remember to insert an emoticon here and there. I don’t always think of it–get into too big a hurry.
ANYWAY, I hope the person who started this thread has better luck with hair removal. Since electrolysis will never cause hair to come back worse, that’s my first and only choice. At worst, it doesn’t work at all due to lack of experience or old machines. It doesn’t make you worse hairwise. IPL isn’t something I’d personally even consider for myself. Just somebody please send me someone who really knows thermolysis and doesn’t just THINK she does!
