It’s a good price providing everything comes with it. The fact it’s still under warranty is good. There have been cheaper (about £400) but it’s rare and then you hope not many other people are bidding.
I think the fees will depend on Germany’s customs charges if there are any.
Hey Miro, there will be no extra VAT charge from the seller if that’s what you mean. If it is a business seller, it’s up to them to pay the VAT when they sell it.
The Sterex machines are indended for professional use and therefore pretty robust. It is in use by several electrologists in Germany. On the long run it should not be too difficult to sell it for a fair price - if for example You decide to invest in a device with more capabilities.
If You buy it new from Elipa, the device costs roughly 1500 EUR including tax. From a 3 years old Elipa pricelist: SX-B EUR 1260,- plus 19% tax (SX-T EUR 715,-).
I’m confused a litlle bit, because It’s the same one as miro found, but it’s still on sale, and when I click on miro’s link it says this listing has ended thanks for your help
Here’s a Fischer CBX. They’re asking a little much. More like $700 to $800 is a fairer price, but he’s including a lot of accessories with it. In wise hands DIY or co-DIY hands this price would pay off though. Would I buy it if I had no machine and the money to spend? No. I’d rather scout craigslists in Canada and New York for a Silhouet-Tone or Apilus, but that’s a riskier market.
Okay, here’s today’s deal: An Apilus SX-500 for $900, looks like in good shape, with most or all of the needed attachments to get started. It’s a winner, and the price is good. I know these couple of posts aren’t on ebay, but hopefully we understand Craigslist is a market to watch just the same.
You are correct, Mantaray (glad to have you back my buddy), but it is much harder to keep an eye out for all the machines that may be posted on CL, however, we welcome any posts with links to such deals… or in this case STEALS!
