Well, I have several reasons. For one, yes, I would say it is rather coarse and definitely bothersome. Also, my face is very sensitive; I almost never manage to shave without serious irritation and bleeding (and I’m very careful - I spend about half an hour shaving each time). So I hate the hair and I hate the shaving, which is a bit of a conundrum right there. Additionally I am also possibly (probably?) transgendered, which would obviously make this quite a bit more of a necessity.
I am aware that electrolysis is expensive, as I’ll be footing the bill. It won’t be easy, especially with heading off to college in the fall (scholarships are of some help there) but I’ll manage.
Currently (as of about a week ago) I am, in fact, on Spironolactone (an antiandrogen), so male hormones aren’t an issue at this point.
