some questions

I don’t know if you’ve read this thread of success stories we’ve been tracking on the other forum, but take a look and notice what machines these people used.

i am not saying that laser doesnt work very good, i am just saying that maybe you can have better results by combining the laser and the ipl. so far from the posts i have read (which are not that much) it is seems that ipl works way better then laser with fine hairs …
also from the link you have posted lagirl , i could see probebly one post which says that the alex has worked on him on the shoulders and upper hands , which leads me to think that more then 2 machines needs to be combined maybe , and to maybe use also the ND:YAG for that (which no proffesional has answered me about this question) .

sslhr , you didnt elaborate about your private study. what area you compared , what type of hairs (dark or fine) ?

There are many men who have tried treating fine hair on upper arms and shoulders. In most cases on this forum, they reported induced growth on this area no matter which machine they used. If it was me, I would only treat that area with electrolysis.

i am not talking about that area , i am talking in general and about the back / belly / chest …

it sounds like the only way you’ll be convinced is if you try it yourself. why not go for it then? choose a small area and see for yourself.

you didnt really said what type of IPL you have used , on which area , what type of hairs , what settings on both machines , what was the results on each side … can you elaborate on that please ?

I did thousands of treatments with an Epilight a long time ago but these were a few different IPLs at settings that were most appropriate for their skin. I would love to use an IPL. There are a lot of advantages to using one. After testing I chose not to because I believe that it does not provide the same level of effectiveness. You are going to have to take that for what it is, my opinion. There really is no value discussing futher what settings, hairs, etc. IPLs can work, if you want to try then do so. Hopefully you will get good results.
