I thought I would give an update seven months later, in case people in similar situations come across this post. I started seeing a new electrolysist a few months after my first post - she is much more gentle on my skin, and any additional redness from her treatments fade within a day or two. The current status of my lip is shown below. Progress is undoubtedly being made, but it’s been a slow and difficult journey…
