Can I get some opinions on this?

Viatek HairPro Laser Hair Removal

Of course, most of those things are usually too good to be true, but I thought that since there are some effective “DIY electrolysis systems” maybe this is an effective DIY laser! Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

If these home systems worked, we’d all by buying them huni.

Since pros pay $55,000 to $250,000 for their LASER system, if this home unit worked, wouldn’t a pro buy it and use it to make money treating clients and not having that large up front expense that has many losing their houses due to second mortgages to pay for equipment that obligates them to $3,000 a month payments between debt service and royalty fees.

Yeah I thought so too, but then again I thought the same thing about electrolysis and now the DIY versions are up for grabs at like $15 and they work.

Thanks so much for the replies!

Which electrolysis ones are $15? Do share. Things like One Touch work, but it doesn’t cost $15 and it takes a hell of a lot more to learn how to get results with it and also lots of time to actually get any sizable area cleared.

Plus, it is so cheaply made it not meant to last long enough to complete what most people need to get done.

We always try to spare people from going down the futile, long hard road, but if you feel the need to DIY with any device, then you must follow your inner calling.

Drugstore.com had One Touch for ~$40 for a while, but not anymore. So I found it on eBay, with prices ranging from $15 to $25

You may have to wonder why those people are selling them. Maybe they’re not as easy to use and quick to get results with as they thought when they bought them

You should read the DIY section on this forum to get an idea of what type of committment is involved here.

Although many a One Touch is purchased, and then resold without ever having been used, anyone who has ever tried to use one knows that buying a used one is like betting on the winner of the SuperBowl during the NFL Pre-Season. Odds are the thing won’t give you much use, if any at all by the time it reaches you. They really are not made to last. Additionally, the replacement stylus costs $3 each, plus shipping!

Well thanks for the input, all. I’m still considering my choices, and I"ve been leaning towards pro removal since the beginning but thought I’d check.
