There is always hope, ivmi. As I said before, I don’t have a crystal ball and I would never be so arrogant to predict that all will be perfect after 12-18 months. I do know that the skin is a marvelous organ that heals itself pretty well over time and that most people recover. I have no special powers to know if you will be one of them.
So you can’t really see these areas in daylight? Can you take a picture in daylight and show us? I think they are filling in a bit from what I can see, but then a gain, maybe the lack of light in the picture is deceiving me.
I understand that you can’t predict outcome for my case…maybe I didn’t wrote well I wanted to ask If anyone ever healed totally after that long period of having pitting…I mean 8 months is not little time…so its very hard for me to believe that anything that is here for that long period can heal like it never was there…anyway about lightening…well in real life you can see it in daylight but my camera cant show it on photos…in daylight you can see that the skin is not smooth… that something happened here, but when I stand under lamp it can be seen very well…I think its becouse of skin collor which is the same like surrounding skin…
Even if someone with a similar problem heals well over a period of time, you may heal better than them or you may not heal as well as they do because our bodies and environment are all so very unique. So is the level of damage. I know you are seeking reassurance and it’s hard to wait…
ok, here you are
i tried to catch it on dayliht it is a bit less visibe here on photo than in RL but you can see it… http://i46.tinypic.com/119o300.jpg
(I know that my eyebrow hair is very deep rooted…about 3mm…i know it from when i pluck it…so it means that the damage is probably done to deep layers of skin…and it is much more harder for skin to heal it…i think)
its look pretty good to me…i understand you i am so worried about my pits and scars too…we should just forget about it and not to check in mirror all the time…try to do what Dee says keep your mind positive
well as I said it is on photo…it’s not like that in real life…It seems to me like it is worse when I look it at the miror…I’m not satisfied with hraling at all…It is to slow…if there is any at all…I don’t believe that it will heal totally…next month I will try to do something with them…it is bothering me to much…I can’t live with this problem anymore.
P.S.
Isill I can’t see your photos…can you upload them again?
Did you get electrolysis above the eyebrow, near the end, between the forehead and the eyebrow? The light here is much better. Thanks. What do you plan to do with this next month, ivmi?
no only below the eyebrow…that is acnae…I have a lot of this tiny acnaes on my forehead…I don’t know what i would do…i will go to the main city where is better option of dermatologist…and will search for options to remove this…does it look deep to you? do you know any method that is good to remove electrolysis pitting? if you do please tell me so I can consider it as an option
One of my clients who said she had some damage done by another electrologist, which I couldn’t see even with my surgical magnification, got treatment with a fraxel laser and she was very pleased. But, then again, I couldn’t see anything prior, but it made her feel good. I have heard about AHA therapy for acne scarring as well.
hey ivmi,
i will put my photo when i get one in daylight…i can imagine your feelings because i am so depressed too…i feel so hopeless and angry that this happened to me…welll, that’s life things happen witout our control…i am trying to forget about it…not easy but trying.to be honest i saw your first photo and this one above…there is great improvement in the scabs.i think you just need more time and to be positive.
is it possible to get nerve damage from electrolysis?? i mean my eye is winking every once in a while(well no one can’t see it but i feel it)…every half an hour…or when i do some grimace… any advice?
There is no pathology that I am aware of that would cause this due to previous electrolysis, even the worst electrolysis. The funny thing is drinking coffee is more likely to be at fault here.
Ivmi…seriously I understand you because I think we all have insecurities concerning our bodies…
But I have been tracking your posts for a while and I think there is more to your problem…
I think you are psychologically sucked up in the problem. I know it is easy to say if I am not you but I can honestly say that no one will ever notice such a small thing and even if one notices it wouldn’t be something that is strange.
Everybody has a skin that is not like a doll…some at the mouth, some at the nose some everywhere some at the eyes…etc. etc.
What I am trying to say from my point of view, and I have been looking closely to your pictures, is that these tiny scars is NOTHING to be worried of. You have beautiful eyes and as a man I wouldn’t ever be bothered or even NOTICE your tiny scars.
In no way does it negatively affect your beauty believe me! it DOESN’T!
Please try to focus less on the small details of yourself because the more you focus the bigger it gets…
Let me guess, everyday you look in the mirror and you feel stress right? Don’t do it…you are psychologically pushing yourself into the problem and focussing on it makes them bigger and bigger.
They won’t go away in a few months and they aren’t ugly…So please try to go on with your dayly business and let time heal the wound…
It’s the only way of getting used to it and eventually even forgetting about them…
It is painfull to see the anxiety and stress you feel because of this problem. Don’t do it…It will make you lonely because of nothing.
Relax and go on girl…You have beautiful eyes believe me!
i know…i understand u but I cant help it Im constantly depressed and crying…im asking myself why did I ever do something like that-why did I ever go on electrolysis treatment for that area!! I would reather have milion hairs right now instead every little scar above my eye!! my skin is now not only depressed it is also different structure - shiny…wrinkled…I’m scared to have any grimace becouse it looks like i have 100 years…i just don’t know why didn’t I continue with laser hair removal…electrolysis totally sucks.
Electrolysis may suck for you, but it does not suck for the millions of people who have it done and have been totally happy with the results for years.
Do you know what could have happened had you done L.A.S.E.R. on your eyebrows?
I am sorry this happened, but this is not the reaction that one would expect from good work. I agree, that one needs to be careful in this area. One must take sample treatments in this area again to evaluate the practitioner’s ability to work the area well.
Laser hair REDUCTION is not the best choice for the eyebrow area. The eyebrow area is the domain of electrolysis because it is very precise and safe for use around the eyes. LASER hair REDUCTION is not.
It is always bothersome to hear complaints that it is the fault of electrolysis when in truth, it should be emphasized, that the human being performing a highly effective method called electrolysis is responsible for your undesirable skin reaction.
I am not at all agreeable when the distinction isn’t made between poor outcome related to poor practitioner behavior and the general term know as Electrolysis. It’s like saying all pencils are responsible for poor spelling.
We have empathy for you, ivmi. We all wish you the best and have said so many times. Hang in there.
