They don’t pop or ooze, I can’t even pop them (not that one should pop pimples, but I used to pop mine way back when I was a naive teenager.) They don’t even have a head on them, they are just large, hard nodules, mildly painful to the touch, and last forever. As much as neosporin is maligned, surprisingly it does seem to shorten their severity and duration, something I discovered by accident. A tiny dab of retin-a every few days worked wonders on the tiny whitehead pimples in the middle of the forehead, but did nothing for these nodules.
I also suffer from sebaceous cysts on the body, I wonder if there is any connection.
