Have any men done electrolysis on back hairs??

Electrolysis is an option for large area’s like the upper arms. shoulders and full back if laser does not help you reach your goals. Certain conditions make this a satisfying option:

Go to someone who does microflash thermolysis.

The largest probe possible must be used with the proper amount of energy so the hair slides out.

Put in at least two hours a week until full first clearance is reached.

Maintain the gain. Go over the areas cleared and zap any new hairs before moving forward to clear another area.

This plan can take about a year of treatments. It goes faster than you can imagine and the price will be in the $3,000-$4,000 range. AND… it is PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL.

Not every electrologist is willing to do this or THINKS that they can do this, but it CAN BE DONE AS DESCRIBED if the right equipment is used by a skilled and focused electrologist and the client is motivated.

khiz, can you share the settings that were used on you on LightSheer if known? Also, did all hair shed each time?

Umm, i dont exactly remember the settings as i had laser treatment about a year ago. I would say that almost all the hair came back (maybe a bit dense). As far as i remember, the setting was 25J to 30J on lightsheer. Maybe i wasnt just the right candidate, but i would certainly not waste my money on laser anymore. Im still tryin to find a good electrologist in Michigan who would help me with my hair problem.

I was just inquiring for info because we are always interested in trying to figure out why someone didn’t get results since they vary so much. unfortunately, it’s impossible to tell with so little info. Wish you had more…(pulse, spot size, shedding, spacing, skin type, etc)

umm, my skin type is bw 3 and 4. Shedding started after about 2 weeks or so. I dont remember the pulse or the spot size, but i was told that im a perfect candidate.

between 3 and 4 is not perfect. type I-II is with black coarse hair is the best combo. the pulse and spot size are very important on this machine since 25 joules is the absolute minimum on LightSheer to be effective. Compression is also very important on this machine. This machine is hard to use and takes experience. The tech really needs to know what they’re doing.

Either way, it’s hard to say without all the information, but good luck with electrolysis.
