i STILL don't get why waxing is a no no......

I still don’t understand why I cannot wax part of my back/shoulders in between treatments.

The hair anyway starts to grow back after a few days. And obviously I will not come waxed when it’s time for treatment. So why is this such a bad thing to do? Can’t I just wax even 3 weeks before a treatment and then let the hair grow until the appointment…?

Waxing pulls out the roots of the hair. The roots of the hairs have to be there when you have LHR treatments.

Yes, you can wax three weeks before the treatment. But, if you want effective treatments, then don’t wax. Three weeks after the treatment, you’ll have some hairs – relatively, very few. They’ll be treated but the ones that were missing, will grow back. Consequently, you’ll just pay more money and prolong your treatment regime.

I realize that you enjoy being hair free and waxing will give you a brief hair free period. Resist the dark side of waxing while going through LHR.

Hair cycles. If you pull the hairs out with waxing, you will ultimately pull some out that weren’t killed by laser yet, and they might not come back in for another 6 months or even 9 months depending on the area you’re treating. You will basically be postponing your overall results if you keep doing that after every treatment.
