just started electrolysis - a few questions!

Hi… another update. So it’s been 7 months since my last post and ~19 months since i started this process and unfortunately I’m still going to appointments which is a little disappointing. i’ve been incredibly vigilent about going in almost weekly since i started and in 19 months, i’ve probably only plucked about 20 hairs (the same # i would in two days before i started this!) i really thought i’d be done by now!

so while i’m frustrated this is taking more than 9 to 12 months as i had hoped, my attitude is significantly better. i still have stragglers here and there, which is why i’m still going in, but there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

i haven’t been on the site in a while and reading people’s posts who are considering starting this makes me realize how far along i’ve come. so many posts echo what i felt – humiliation, helplessness, social anxiety in certain situations, etc. after 19 months, i’m no longer obsessed with my facial hair or people staring at my “beard”, and aside from a day or two before my appointment, i really don’t even think about my hair.

as i mentioned before, definitely a commitment in the beginning, but much easier over time and and unquestionably worthwhile. will report back when i’m done for good!

Thanks Bethany115.

Would you like to share the method that is being used? Galvanic? thermolysis (flash? MicroFlash? PicoFlash)? blend?

Can you do quick run down about how much facial hair you had and at what point you got a first, full clearance? Were you cleared everytime you went in? These are a few of the important concepts that relate to time spent on the table. I can list more concepts if you would like. There is much balancing to do when one performs electrolysis and if one thing is out of place, it can make the time on the table longer, but all and all, you will get there.

Thanks for checking in.
