laser on female legs!

I was treated with a laserscope gemini, and the setting I have to find out.But I definatley felt the hair being zapped during the treatment. So I will wait another week, since its been exactly 3 weeks today, before I call in, and ask for another treatment, I doubt It would be free…I mean it took about an hour to do both legs I don’t think they will just give me another free treatment(I purchased 6)

well, you’re paying for effective treatments. if you don’t see any shedding and the hair is growing as usual (you should try to not shave for a few days and see if the hairs slide out without resistance if you pull on them. it could be hard to tell shedding on this area if you keep shaving daily), then they’re not effective.

I was impressed with the results of a client of mine who had laser hair removal on her lower legs. I had given her that choice way back when and told her to come to me for electrolysis if she needed help in the last stretch. She came back recently requesting electrolysis for the roughy 400-500 hairs that are left on each leg. Her right leg was cleared in one hour and she’ll be back in week to clear the left leg.

She had 12 treatments spread out over 18 months with an Alexandrite laser. She wasn’t sure of the total cost, but thinks a couple thousand dollars? I did notice hypopigmantation on all areas with my super magnification glasses, but it is nothing the average eye could catch. The hairs left were scattered and mainly dark and in anagen phase, but she did not want to spend any more money on laser knowing it would be easy to zap with electrolysis at this point. A thousand hairs is not a lot of hair to zap with microflash, by the way.

Just wanted to report on another great result with laser for the lower legs and re-emphasize how practitioner skill along with the correct laser AND… a good candidate reaches such a great outcome.

just to add to this: 12 treatments spaced over 18 months on this particular area is a bit too often, so some money could have been saved too by waiting a bit longer between treatments. legs really don’t need treatments less than 12-16 weeks apart.

I’m going for my second treatment today, I will let her know that I didn’t see any shedding what so ever, Oh this will hurt, wish me luck.
