In the past, I’ve seen “Lasertrolysis” refer to speedy forms of elecrolysis. (sorry not sure what they’re called exactly.)
Now I’m seeing it pop up to refer to “Laser AND electrolysis” packages. Laser first to try and get all the hair. And electrolysis to finish up. More marketing.
I’m not aware yet of the pricing for these types of packages. But I can see them jacking prices up for this. I kinda think going for laser at one place…and electrolysis at another might be better.
Lasertrolysis just sounds like a way to draw in business. Package deals are usually better than getting both services separately since its a package. Every business sets there own prices so it would be best to figure price out the different services if you were to purchase them separate.
If you want to be 100% hair free you are going to need some electrolysis.
Finding a competent practitioner should be your biggest concern. There are too many people in the industry giving it a bad name.
I would be happy to work on anyone who wanted electrolysis, but a lot of practitioners only want to do LHR. LHR is where the money is at. If you spend a couple thousand on LHR at one place, why would another business be inclined to give you a deal on electrolysis when you took the big bucks to someone else? There is usually not a lot of electrolysis needed post proper LHR treatments.
