LightSheer™ Diode Laser

Hey all

Could the people in the know give an opinion on the LightSheer™ Diode Laser please.
Few details, I am 23 male, white, dark hair, looking to get treatment on my back! Can combine with electrolysis if this would be useful!
Would this laser be suitable for me?

Thanks for any/all input!

“White” is relative. Please read the FAQs at the link below and tell us what skin type you think you are.

Also, this laser is ok on light skin, but the operator needs to be very experienced because it’s not easy to use. We also recommend checking out several places before getting treatments to find out if they’re going to use high enough settings, if they have enough experience, etc. There are a lot of people out there who don’t know what they’re doing. Also, there are more powerful lasers out there if you really have very pale skin and can handle the power.

Is the hair you want to treat coarse and dense?

You won’t need electrolysis as long as the practitioner is willing to do spot treatment followups for any missed hairs. Lagirl is right, but my experience and results were excellent using the LightSheer when I was in a similar situation to yours.

LightSheer gets good results in good hands. The problem is finding “good hands”

Hey thanks for the input everyone. Sorry it takes a while for me to post, I cnt get onto the internet that often!
I have been told (when I enquired about IPL and er didnt go - lol) that I had type 2 skin! The hair is coarse but not that dense really!
I am glad you had success Vulpes! What did you have done if you dont mind me asking?
In the area where I live the options are pretty limited at what I can have done!
The place I am tempted to go has a website, I know this sounds daft but can I post the link to the company website? Or is that not allowed?

You can post a link. No problem. As long as it’s not advertising, it’s allowed.

Alexandrite type laser would be best for you, like GentleLASE or Apogee models. LightSheer in good hands would work as well.

You can click on the link in Vulpes’s post to read his entire story with pictures.
