limited success......

I have done two treatments so far in a dermatologists office here in Germany. My German is not great, and his english is not great. We have been able to communicate pretty well on the basics, but some of the details are not clear to me as to what type of treatments results are expected immediately after tx.

I am one month out after my second treatement and the amount of hair on my back and shoulders looks relatively unchanged (maybe a little less). I have looked around and it looks like my results are not ideal at this point. I do have a red component to my hair, however the hairs are definitely darker than my skin ( more of a brown/red). I am wondering if maybe he is using a different laser than is ideal for my skin type.

Most importantly please confirm if I am right in my suspicions that I should be pretty much hair free at 4 weeks out from my second treatment. I have full length hairs that have grown in - albiet slower it seems than normal, but still there.

your help would be greatly appreciated
dave

hair is supposed to shed within 3 weeks after each treatment. have you experienced that? can you find out what machine he’s using and settings? yes, there are only a few machines that can work on you and at high settings since your hair color is not ideal.

So I should be using an Alexandrite long pulse laser or a Diode laser? Which one is better? I have Type II skin I think

alexandrite is best for light skin. diode can be good too in good hands, but a GOOD alex would be my tope choice.
