My laser treatment

what is sk:n?
i went to the Harley Medical Group in Bristol.

Sk:n are a chain of clinics that do laser and other treatments - google you’ll find them. Like the Harley medical group they are also all over the country.

re: confusion - I sympathise hair removal and trying to get the right information is a time consuming pain I always want to believe that when I see people that are going to do the best for me. I know I would if i was in their shoes but am learning that it isn’t always the case. Then in the search for information you just get over loaded and confused.

But we not the only ones I’ve come across site called medical spa MD and the doctors on that don’t always seem to be able agree on what is the best laser either.

Chin up!

Before Kitty’s site closed, there were tons of negative posts regarding Harley Medical Group.

A nurse named Gil was always spoken highly of, but I don’t remember the name of her business. She used GentleLASE.

It may not be the same clinic, but if it’s regarding London there are only two clinics that use the GentleLASE. Laser Clear or Laser-active and the owners name of Laser-active is Gill.

I’m not trying to be there little promotion boy, but just letting you know where the best treatment is because Iv’e been through hell and back with other clinics.

Regards,
Benji

The hard thing in this is, there are so few practitioners one would feel good about endorsing that one does run the risk of seeming to be advertising for those who one finds are good. People just don’t accept up front that finding a good practitioner is not as easy as throwing a dart into the phone book… that is, until they start comparisson shopping for themselves and see the grand canyon of a difference one can find out there.

I agree its so hard especially with all the technology around to find whats best for which person.
With all the different types of laser machines around - different ones work best for each individual. The Actual laser im being treated with as Alexandrite laser.

GentleLASE IS an alexandrite laser.

is Cynosure also an Alexandrite laser?

is there a thread discussing the differences between cynosure and gentleLASE so i can educate myself about these names, if not, why would somebody look for gentleLASE instead of Cynosure?

Cynosure is a company name. They make Apogee lasers - both alex and Yag types. Candela Corporation makes GentleLASE and GentleYAG. GentleLASE has better specs than most Apogee alex machines, i.e. higher spot size and lower pulse.
