My Update

Hi,

I am over 2 months since my last laser treatment on my stomach and chest. I am amazed at the difference between the 3rd treatment and the 4th.

I was a little bit unsure on weather I was going to have another treatment after my third as I was satisfied with the reduction.

However, now I am post 2 months 4th treatment, the areas are incredibly hair free. There is still hair there, but now there is a sizeable reduction.

The remaining hair is finer and still coming through. I will not be having more treatments on this area regardless of regrowth etc. I am satisfied and I am not too fazed if it returns or not.

A reminder I was treated with a Coolglide Xeo.

thanks for the update.

Thats okay.

I thought I should express this with you.

There are alot of people on this board other boards, who rave on and on about the side-effects, potential risks etc. I keep up to date with reading this board fairly regularly.

People have to realise laser is not a 100% complete solution for their hair problems. It is not a perfect solution. All things have risks. Weather you walk across the road, sit in a room with smokers. All these things in every day life have an influence on our lives, bodies etc.

All risks with laser are probably not fully known, however within the whatever how many years this has been around. The effects have been minimal.

WHat I am saying is that you PROBABLY have more chance of damaging your body sitting next to a smoker than you do undergoing a couple of laser treatments.

agreed. and after all, it’s your personal choice if you want to take the risks anyways, however small they are.

I kinda know what you are saying. When I first started, I thought I would just go for some reduction. I was surprised that I found the more I had removed, the more I wanted removed. I found that I really like the hair free periods so I continued so as to be fairly hair free. I like the clean appearance.

I agree with that 100%! Plus the comfort of a hairless chest and armpits in the summer can’t be beat!

I agree. It IS addicting <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> (and you often forget what you started out with – funny how you get used to the good things so quickly)

Okay so its been nearly a year. I thought it was my duty to come back and let you know my results seeing there is alot of negativity out there about lack of results.

I had 4 I believe (its been so long…check my last postings too see how many i had) laser treatments on my chest and abs. My goal was reduction. After A year have I still got that reduction YES. My hair is not nearly as thick as it use to be, there is less of it in all treated areas. I now shave my abs and I can go a week or more before having to shave again, if I did this prior to treatment it would have been stubble in a day, when it grows back it is not corse at all and feels smooth.

If looking at me from 5 to 10 metres away it would look like I have no hair at all. This was def not the case when I first started. So does laser work…yes it does. but you have to have realistic expectations!!! I am not sure if I would have ever become completely smooth from it, I will never know as I have no plans to do anymore work on it. I am very happy and it was money well spent. Just make sur eyou go to a reputable clinc with a good laser. I used a coolglide xeo.
