Partial reduction

Hi

I have different goals than most and wonder if I coudl get results in just one or two treatments.

Basically, after waxing :(( my grey fine leg hairs are black adn coarse, so even when I shave, they are still sort of visible and grow back super fast. I’m extremely fair so its more noticeable on me than on most. I hate it and don;t like to wear shorts, etc, anymore

so, I was thinking, what if i get either a reduction in density, or finer regrowth, bc that will solve the gross visiblity problem to an extent.

Does reduction start after one treatment? Or at least a couple? I ask becuase I honeslty cannot afford a full run, but would be very satisfied with an improvement. Would it be more common to have reduction, but same coarseness, or finer, but no reduction. BOth? neither?

My skin is whitest of white and hair is black, so that’s in my favor.

thanks!

if anyone can give exampels of their first and second sessions with specifics in coarseness , darkness and density, that woudl be great!!

You can get an improvement on your black hairs in about 3-4 treatments. I wouldn’t count on one since you’ll only affect one stage of growth at most. I would do 3-4 treatments spaced less frequently, about 16 weeks apart. That’s what I’m actually doing too right now on my lower legs.

Thanks lagirl

i was hoping to hear that one treatment would affect them, at least for awhile

it seemed like from your diary postings, the hairs came back way finer after just one treatment, but i guess i misunderstood?

It depends on how long you wait after the treatment. I did my lower legs once and then waited 20 weeks to do them again. There was definitely less hair for the first 10-12 weeks, but then the hairs in new phase of growth start coming in, and it starts looking similar to before. so that’s why you need 3-4 treatments.

Thanks for specifying. In the summer, over 2 or 3 months of less hair would actually be pretty nice. Good to know
