I have pigmentation problems around where I also hace facial hair…it’s EXTREMELY noticable. What can be done to treat the hyperpigmetation/scarring from laser maybe/the redness i experience/hair on my face???
you don’t get scarred from laser unless the person doesn’t know what they’re doing and set the settings way too high for your skin type. hopefully, you won’t go to the first clinic you encounter so this won’t be an issue at all, as it shouldn’t be.
if you have pigmantation issues on your skin, you should consult with a dermatologist and obtain a lightening cream.
you didn’t explain where the redness is coming from
Well, I have gone and gotten laser hair removal twice…but years ago and I didn’t know any better…the second place I went to the women doing it used a high frequency setting…I don’t know the name of the machine, maybe IPL…i already have a five o’clock shadow but around my nose and mouth my skin looks almost irritated. I went to a dermatologist and she suggested chemical peels to lighten my skin and she also said it looks like I have the slight start of rosecea(?). Lagirl, when I say it’s so noticeable i’m not lying. It’s so bad I cant even cover it up with makeup let alone look anyone in the face without being super insecure. I can’t even go in the sunlight, worse I can’t go out of the house without makeup. I knew I could count on you the give me some advice…my skin type is like a 2-3. I’ve been reading these forums and i would consider using either the Lightsheer or GentleLASE. I’ve shaved, waxed, depilated it all and that was my mistake. What would you do if you were me and thank god your not!
Special Thanks,
Aime
