Proper eye protection?

I had my first test spots done with the Coherent LightSheer Diode laser last week and I’m going in for my first full treatment on Thursday.

The technician gave me these big sunglass-type things… but I’ve heard that you are supposed to wear opaque eye coverings that don’t allow any light in? These were more like reddish-tinted large sunglasses (kind of like the kind you would wear on top of glasses I guess).

Should I just close my eyes? Or is this good enough protection? She is not doing treatment on my face so will I be okay???

Those should be fine. Just be sure they’re on tight. They’re probably the same ones the operator is wearing, and if anyone needs to be worried, it’s them.
