i just started laser to remove facial hairs. i have light skin and brown hairs. i’m not sure why i’m not happy with the laser tech. i used. i’m looking for a new tech. in nyc. they told me to come back every 4 weeks- does that make sense?
Is the hair coarse? Is it dark brown or light brown hair? What skin type are you?
4 weeks is to shorter time. There is one practitioner who’s had some good reviews in NYC, I believe he posts sometimes on here. I think he uses the GentleMAX, which is able to give treatment with both the Alexnaderlite and nd:YAG.
I would post a link of where the contact information is mentioned, but can’t remember for the life of me which one it is. Try running a advanced search on the forum.
Regards,
Benji
Are you male or female? How coarse and dense is the hair? What specific areas on the face?
4 weeks is too early.
i’m female. the hairs aren’t particularly coarse or dense. they got much better through electroylsis - i was thinking of switching to laser cuz its less pain and cheaper in the long run. still not sure what to do
Laser doesn’t work on hair that’s not coarse, especially on this area. You should stick with electrolysis.
Also, even on the right type of hair, laser is painful. It’s only not painful at ineffective settings.
Please don’t buy into the hype and stick with electrolysis. Laser is not the right option for your situation.
