Question about laser and shaving?

Before laser treatment, should the hair be slightly above skin surface or freshly shaved? Thank you.

This is answered in the FAQs. You want a tiny bit of stubble so that the tech doesn’t miss spots. If you don’t have a shadow after the hair is shaved, it’s hard to tell where it was.

I thought I read it in the FAQ but when I re-read it to check for it I couldn’t find it so I assumed it wasn’t there that I read it.
