Hi, I have the option of either an Apilus Junior 3G (still under warranty) or an Apilus Senior 3G, not under warranty anymore and a bit more expensive. (Both second hand, Junior includes a nice amount of probes).
Which one is better? Is there much of a difference between the two? Is one of them more user friendly over the other?
I appreciate anyone taking the time to reply to a new (amateur) starting this journey! (Electrolysis)
I know this is an old post and my answer here won’t help the original poster, but it will hopefully help someone else with the same kind of question.
Always get the highest level machine that you can afford. There will be capabilities that the higher machine will give you that are not on the lesser machine, and the upper level machines are usually easier to learn on, as they typically have more helpful things like presets to act like training wheels until you know enough to make your own custom settings.
The good news is these machines rarely need servicing. The bad news is that if you need service, you may need to ship them off to some far off place and not have use of them for a week or four, unless you meet up with the manufacturer at one of the convention appearances they attend.
