Back Again

Hey I have posted here in the past then I just dissapear into my hole. I posted my store about how my entire face has hair on it like the rest of body.
My face situation is the hair is growing pretty much on every cm of my face including my forehead and outside of my nose. I looked into laser but learned here I shouldnt laser my entire face.
Then I learned about this process and just cant imagine going through it week after week for years. My determatologist had never seen anything like me. I outgrow in a few months what men who havent shaven once in there entire life!

Sorry it wouldnt let me type more then that let me finish.

My nose the hair is growing all over it and im not talking inside of the nostrils like normal ppl. So the hair is stick outwards like a porqupine. Im really lookin for suggestions on what to do? What would you do? I did blood test like was reccomended here but they found nothing. Forgot what kind of test but it was the one reccomended on this board to find out if it was horomones or something.

Im terrified of going through this process on my nose. Has anyone had it done is it dangerous. Is it even possible? Then there would be the embarassment of my nose being red and stuff inbetween treatments or scabs and other stuff that might happen that I read about.

I have the same problem as you, I have a lot of facial hair, it is very fine but dark (and yes even on my nose and forehead) I’m going for electrolysis treatments now and have noticed a difference. Like you I’ve had blood tests all coming back normal (yay for me lol)

So far electrolysis has helped me and has not caused and scaring or scabs, but you have to go to a reputable electrologist.
Don’t worry you’re not alone! Be determined to fight this! In the long run it will payoff =)

Don’t go to a hack. Find a good practitioner who leaves your skin looking mostly good and start right away. You can beat it. It won’t even take years. Once you get that first clearance, you can maintain it for a year or so and probably be mostly done.

It will take about a year, and that sounds worse than it is. Once you get the first clearance, you will technically be hair-free (visibly) from that point forward, because each time a small baby hair pops up you treat it immediately. So in three months (or less) you’ll probably already be happy with your results.

Red marks in electrolysis are more common on the body than the face (according to my electrologist), but I am still scared of getting red marks so I haven’t started my face yet. It is scary. But now that I know what it’s like, I am going to start my face as soon as my arm is cleared.

I will wish you luck if you wish me luck!

thx im thinking of taking some pics and maybe posting them here or pm’ing them to one of the regulars. im going to spend time learning about laser also and maybe experiment on front of my neck cause it wont be as bad if something goes wrong

i heard laser works on dark hair for ppl with brown skin on there faces alot of ppl do it

Laser works best on dark hair with light skin (the whiter the better). However there are some technologies that work for dark skin (like Yag lasers) they are just not as effective.

For laser, what matters most is that the hair is coarse and dense. Yags are for darker skin and will work well on coarse hair. They just won’t work well on hair that’s not coarse, especially on dark skin.

Please read the laser FAQs at the link below.
